Lock bumping is a lock picking technique that uses specially created lock bump keys to open locks. Designed for use by locksmiths, lock bumping keys have become readily availble in the past few years and create means and opportunity for burglars. Learn about risks and solutions at lockbumping.org or check out this news report on bump keys, or this Campus Safety journal article.
