The city of Everett, Washington has a big spot in our hearts at Sonitrol Pacific. It’s where Beau Bradley founded Sound Security, Inc. (dba Sonitrol Pacific) in 1978 and it’s where our Verification Center is located. Yesterday, we found out from the Everett Police Department that two homes in the southern part of town had been burglarized on May 29th. Linking the incidents were two men who had earlier that day approached both homes saying they were selling either ADT or Monitronics home security systems in Everett. The police department’s  crime alert is below:

CRIME ALERT – May 30, 2013 Two burglaries were reported yesterday – May 29, 2013. In both instances, homeowners were approached the day before by two males selling ADT and/or Monitronics alarm signs for the front yard. One male is described as Hispanic and the second is of unknown race but has facial hair. Both wore casual clothing, blue jeans and baseballs caps – Not company uniforms. Neither provided or offered business credentials when asked and it is unknown if they were involved in the burglaries.

Be alert for suspicious people in your neighborhood and call 911 if you see anything out of the ordinary!
