Security audio of rattles and bangs resulted in the dispatch of deputies and arrest of a suspected trespasser May 27.
Sonitrol Pacific Operator Mike Young received a quick series of security system activations and heard “a loud rattle and banging sounds” over audio sensors at the school. He called Pierce County Sheriff’s Department to respond.
Deputies arrived at the school in about five minutes of Young’s call and detained one person. The suspect was arrested for trespassing, but never got inside the school.
